Enquiry & Booking

Do you offer a site visit?

Yes we offer a free site visit to all enquiries. We will measure your garden/venue and discuss your requirements in more detail.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes we require 25% to secure the booking with the balance due no later than 1 month prior to delivery and set up. Please see booking and payment terms in our standard hire terms and conditions.


Do you charge VAT?

Yes we do charge VAT. All our prices are made clear at the time of the enquiry. We also offer an damage waiver to all enquires.

Do you offer an insurance cover?

No, however we do offer an optional damage waiver to all bookings which covers accidental damage (Excluding negligence). This is at 6% of the booking value and means the hirer would only be liable for the excess of £500 rather than the full repair or replacement cost. Please take a look at our terms and conditions which are sent out with all invoices via email.

We do recommend that all customers do their own research into event insurance. 


Can I amend or change the items booked once I have paid a deposit?

Yes, within reasonable time and depending on availability you are more than welcome to add or change the hired items after you have booked. It has to be mutually agreed by both LEX and the customer.

Do you take credit cards?

No we do not offer a card payment option and can accept either Bank Transfer or Cheque.

Do provide furniture and other accessories I may need?

Yes we have a wide range of furniture and accessories that you may need for your event. Take a look at our Funriture & Accessories page for a list and prices of what we offer.


Do I need a heater?

We find that most of the weddings and events we provide our marquees to do not really require a heater between June and August, however depending on the weather forecast it can be worth checking closer to the day. We do have a range of marquee heaters that can be hired all year round if needed. Take a look at our heaters on our accessories page.

Do you hire toilets?

Yes we own and offer a number of luxury toilet trailers for hire. You can find out more information and prices on our Luxury Toilet Hire page.

Do you provide toilet roll and hand soap?

Yes we provide all consumable based on the number of guests you have attending your event including the below:

-    Toilet Rolls
-    Hand Soap
-    Hand Cream/Moisturiser
-    Hand Sanitiser
-    Paper Hand Towels
-     Tissues
-    Air Fresheners

We also offer a VIP assorted box for £20, which induces deodorant, mints and gum and sanitary products. If you would like to book this with the trailer trailer the let us know at time of booking to add this to your order.


Delivery & Set Up

Our standard delivery times are usually a day or two prior to the event and this is confirmed within the month leading up to your event date. All deliveries and collections are on a weekday unless specified at time of booking.


If you have a specific day or time requirement for delivery or collection then please let us know at time of booking so this can be confirmed and added to your booking notes/invoice.

Also if you have booked a venue that has any time or date restrictions please do let us know at time of booking the marque or LEX service. 

It is the customers responsibility to provide all information for the venue requirements prior to booking.

If there are any late changes to the delivery or collection there may be an additional delivery charge if relevant.


What type of van do you come to site in?

We use a range of vehicles for delivery and set up. These include a small Astra van to a large Luton as well as SUV to tow trailers. We offer a free site visit and use Google Earth to review all venue locations for the hired items and access. We do require that if there are any potential access problems you let us know asap.


How long will it take to set up the marquee?

It all depends on the size of your booking. This could be anything from 1 hour to 1 day. We will give you an indication to how long this will be at time of booking.
