The Channel 5 show followed 4 young children as they reached their sweet sixteen. All the children came from different backgrounds with different ideas on how to celebrate their 16th birthday.
LEX Marquee Hire were approached and booked by Channel 5 to create a one-off party for twins Archie and Fran. They wanted to hire one of our Capri style marquees for the party but after a discussion with our team we agreed on creating a one-of-a-kind party just for them.

We teamed up with APS and put together one of the best sweet sixteen parties imaginable.
To create a party to remember we provided the marquee, dance floor, disco lighting, D.J, photographer, and videography. On a more practical element we provided a generator to keep the lights flashing and the music playing.
For the Channel 5 show this meant the Star Shade and Capri marquee were the top choice as they would fit in with the twins vision as well as the TV producers’ practical requirements.
Both the Star Shade marquee and Capri marquee are a stretch style structure with dramatic peaks and sweeping canopies to the ground. Unlike the Capri marquee the dark star is a shaded structure in black and purple which once kitted out with lighting, dance floor and disco makes the perfect party venue anywhere.
We really enjoyed working alongside the production crew to pull together a fantastic night for Archie and Fran.
